4. Client Responsibilities

5. Intellectual Property

editUpon receipt of full payment for a completed project, the client receives ownership of all custom deliverables produced by SolidWiki for that project — including custom skins, custom extensions, and migrated content — unless otherwise stated in the project agreement.
5.2 Open-Source Components
editMediaWiki and its extensions are open-source software licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2) or compatible licences. Any work SolidWiki performs using or building upon open-source components remains subject to the terms of those licences.
5.3 Website Content
editAll original content published on solidwiki.com and hub.solidwiki.com by SolidWiki — including articles, service descriptions, and documentation — is owned by SolidWiki. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute this content without prior written permission.
6. Payment Terms
editPayment terms for service engagements are set out in the project agreement or proposal. Unless otherwise agreed:
- A deposit may be required before work commences
- Final payment is due upon project completion and delivery
- Ongoing maintenance services are billed on a recurring basis as agreed
SolidWiki reserves the right to suspend or terminate work if agreed payment terms are not met.
7. Limitation of Liability

- Downtime or data loss resulting from third-party hosting providers, server environments outside SolidWiki's control, or actions taken by the client
- Any issue arising from third-party software, including MediaWiki core, extensions, or skins developed by parties other than SolidWiki

While we take care to deliver high-quality work, we do not guarantee that any wiki installation will be free from errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities arising from external factors, including third-party software updates or hosting environments.
